Group Premieres This December
Group is an original musical written specifically for the critically acclaimed Los Angeles Theatre Ensemble.
GROUP is an original musical set during six months of musical group therapy sessions at a small university. While the school counselor struggles to help the students cope with their pain, grief, loss and loneliness, his own life crumbles around him. But through their time together, the group grows both as individuals and as their own kind of family, as illuminated through songs in an indie- and folk-rock vein that range from passionate and personal to anthemic.
The premiere workshop performances of this groundbreaking musical are December 9-11 and 16-18.
